Woke up at this hour... Munching 'Shapes' while doing the slides... I guess I'm abit stressed up now... Gotta leave for lab early later for ELISA (again!).. 5 plates this time.. hopefully the last one for this year........


Some things are better left unsaid... Off to do my slides... (And of course live score for championsleague.. hehe)

In less than an hour, I was instructed informed to present on the coming lab meeting.. That will be less than a week with another expt on hand.. Thesis writing will be hanging again.. As if it's not bad enough..

I'm thinking of canceling the trip to Tulips festival trip tmr.. Not sure if minghao will be ok with this.. I'm so doomed and f***ed now.. I need to get isolated (again)...

It's so bad that I thought it's Fri 13th today...

As expected, I failed to secure it... Still had a prick of disappointment even though I'm sort of expected this to happen...

Rained for the whole noon despite being warm when I was on my way to the lab.. Spoilt my mood even more...

Looking at cheap Ipod Nano being snatched and did not manage to snatch one of them made my day even worse..

Thesis wasn't looking very good.. Still have a pile of stuff need to sort out.. Expect to wrap up expt by next week..

Decided to come home after receiving all these bad news... Looking at the time now, I still have slightly less than 10hours to go for this day to end.. What other disappointment will I get for today?? Not looking forward to it at all.... Don't feel like going for my MYER shopping later... :(((

Still alive and kicking....

Wanted to blog for the past few days.. But with the ELISA on my way, it's really hard to find extra time for this.. Cant deny there is plenty of incubation time, but washing the plates manually doesn't help at all.. I have 3 plates by the way... So, basically my life for the past 2 weeks have been like a vicious cycle: ELISA during the day and results analysis during the night.. Cycle starts around 9.30am and ends at 11pm... Had been neglecting my thesis writing as well... Crap.. I can see a glimpse of the deadline now... Means it's getting nearer!! Damn... Therefore, here I am at home trying to concentrate on my writing and analysing my results (statistically, damn)...

Despite the busy schedule, I tried to destress a little bit during weekend (apparently, my lab mate is having so-called "body shutdown" due to the stress)... I managed to catch Arsenal being crashed by Man shitty City, which led to me watching the Tottenham vs ManU as well... So ended up, sleeping at the ungodly hour 4.30am... Great way to destress, I would say... :))))

Oh well, I also managed to catch some of the episodes from 'Little Nyonya'... I can't believe my eyes that some of women during the past are so 恶毒.. Pardon my poor chinese ( I might jot the wrong word since I'm not chinese educated).. Anyway, some of the guys that I know today are really still living in the past, I believe... Or at least there is ONE guy who thinks that....

Somebody told me that I'm a village girl, so behave like one.. I'm wondering, in what way am I behaving like a city girl.. And what's the definition of a village girl's behavior? He thinks that the girls should serve their husband after they married, support everything the husband does (that's all I can recall now).. That sounds just like the girls in the 'Little Nyonya'... And if you conveniently forget this, the girls are from 1940/1950s, alright?? Does this imply that I should behave like the girls from half a century ago?? Oh come on, grow up and behave like a man... If you are desperate for a girl who behaves that way, perhaps you should look up for Doraemon and get the time machine from him?

Girls in this era are more independent, educated and have their own opinion.. It doesn't mean that they do not respect the guys, but they will only respect those who deserve their respect... No more blindly supports available for you... So if you wanna earn the respect from us, U YOURSELF need to do something to make yourself respected by us.. Otherwise, too bad too sad... you just simply don't deserve it..

Alright, to be fair to you, we need to remain conservative right? Let me spell out this old people's saying.. 女人啊。。 总要嫁出去。。 找个好归属。。If you can understand the bold phrase, it means the girls would wanna look for guys who are able to provide for them.. So, don't expect the girls will stay with you if you are unable to do this.. And if you still expect them to hand you their earning to support whatever you wanna do, I would say that this is way too much.. I believe the guys from half a century ago would not even ask for a penny from the girl.. Or at this moment you will think that guys and girls are equal today.. If yes, you are just simply being double standards and self-contradicting... Think of what you want actually, today's perspective or half a century ago ones?? And NO, you can't have the best of both worlds apparently...

The guys vs girls issue has been a debate for long.. But, I personally feel that if the guy is deserve the respect, the girl will provide the respect and of course supports all the way.. In a way, I personally would say that the so-called conservative guy is trying to blame the girls for not supporting him because he is simply too useless or not good enough for the girls.. I would suggest him to look for a girl who is not well-to-do, and less capable than him.. Or is he too incapable that he is unable to get a girl less capable than him??

My post may sound abit harsh, but I would say it bore some truth in it.. And yes, I have been wanting to blog about this for long.....
