I was kinda busy in the afternoon with my on-going experiments and the stomach was growling like mad... Then only I realized I totally forgotten about my lunch.. Damn! Wanted to have take-away but it was raining heavily when I left the office.. So decided to take the bus straight home.. As if the rain is not enough to make us shiver (most ppl only have light jackets on due to the beautiful warm morning), the bus driver decided that we need to get reminded of the crazy temperature during winter by blasting the air-cond to max... I don't remember us having such a luxury when the weather is scorching hot at 33 degrees.. It's no fun seriously...

3 more weeks to go before i head home... Kinda mixed feeling now... I hope I will be able to pack up all the stuff back to Spore! I've got one bag full of fictions and it's already 7.3kg.. OMG! and I still have quite number of fictions to go... :( Keeping my fingers crossed....

Since eechin is shouting at me to update my blog, I decided to just scribble some stuff so shut her mouth up! Yeah, again I haven't been updating frequent enough..

Mummy is in Melb now!! Just finished our 2 days Great Ocean Road tour and 1-day Mornington trip.. We managed to spot some (plenty!!) wild koalas dozing off on the eucalyptus this time round!! Mummy was extremely excited when she saw them - and us too!! She was fascinated by the rock formation along the GOR as well... It's good that we stayed overnight at Apollo Bay so that Minghao can have some rest and we get to explore Apollo Bay as well.. I would choose Apollo Bay to Lorne though.. Lorne is just too "dead" despite their beautiful beach... Or probably I only stayed in Apollo Bay for a night so that doesn't matter much to me.. Anyway, both towns are beautiful!

Our Mornington trip was fun fun plus fun!! We decided to have cheapo lunch - bought a roast chicken from Wollies and had impromptu picnic at Rye, not forgetting with the company of lots of sea-gulls staring at us while we had our lunch! =D Mummy had fun plucking the strawberries as well!! And playing along the beaches... Had dinner at our favourite place in BoxHill with me ended up rushing to the toilet straight after that.. =(

Will be heading to Philip Island for our 2-days trip tomorrow! Hope all goes well tmr!!

Side note: I've decided on the wedding theme as well.. Abit unlike me though, but I guess that will be memorable (I hope).. Now I can see how I want things to be (FINALLY!!).. I have been thinking about this for the past few months and I couldn't decide or should I say couldn't be bothered about this theme kind of stuff until I realized that it's really hard to decide on some stuff without knowing what kind of wedding you want it to be... OMG! I sound so girly now.. LOL!!! Anyway, can start looking around for the stuff that's suitable for this.. YAY!! I have an idea on my wedding favour as well! And MingHao said we can add this to the existing ones (if the hotel doesn't have what I want).. Another YAY!!

Next to look at: decor & flowers... c'mon c'mon.. give me some flashes of pictures again plssss.... erm, I think MingHao is getting crazy with my sudden burst of ideas.. I can do my cooking and the next moment I'll dash out from the kitchen and start blabbering about my ideas... That's how sudden is the 'bursting' of my ideas... Hopefully this is normal.. Well, even if this isn't normal I don't think I'll give a damn anyway.. ♥♥

Eechin had just visited Melb with Ah Hong ♥.. Hilarious thing is - they managed to get to the wrong airport this time round and of course missed the flight.. -_-|| I hope this does not happen to me though... Anyway, I don't think they will ever repeat this again even though I can't really bet on it.. Enjoyed their visit of course, but it will be better if I did not lose my wallet & left both of them wandering around with their phone flat.. It's quite lucky for us that we managed to bump into each other on the street.. Overall, I enjoyed their visit!!

Minghao's buddy from Tas dropped by Melb as well.. Taught us how to make poached eggs.. yay!! I want Egg Benedict Breakfast!!!!!! *hint hint MingHao* Got to know a girl through his buddy as well and she's really friendly... Great shopping buddy as well... hehe..

Did I ever mention that I LOVE friends dropping by Melbourne? It's really great meeting up with them, chatting over a cup of coffee (ok, maybe lots of it)or over Freddo gelati?? Shit, I'm starting to miss the green tea flavour.. So guys, hurry up and drop by Melb soon alright??

Major plans, major plans & major plans.. Well, since it's major plans, nothing has been finalised therefore no further information can be released.. No point rambling on plans, which may or may not happen in near future.. Wedding is no longer major plan as it is currently an ongoing stuff.. I suppose most ppl already knew this by now.. Wedding preps are going ok, guest list should be ready soon, so do anticipate the bomb coming to you soon!! Will be having the pre-wed photoshoot in few months time, so the Biggest Loser program is still going on... hopefully I can shed the extra kilos miraculously.. Argh!!!!! And why is Minghao losing weight when he's having supper every night?? THIS IS JUST SO UNFAIR!! Well, gotta suck it up & continue with the program... Gym has been my favourite hangout place after work.. Never thought I'll actually like going to the gym this much..

It's impossible to end the entry by not mentioning anything about World Cup.. Haven't been watching much of it esp for those late matches.. I decided not to sacrifice my sleep and wake up at freaking 4.30am to watch them despite being labeled as 'no fan of soccer'... hehe... And the sudden-shot-to-fame little old octupus.. 老娘佩服你啦！！！

Will be back to Spore & Sitiawan for a short trip this Dec.. Food food food!!!♥♥

I've finally signed up with the fitness centre in the uni!! Kinda excited abt it.. I've always wanted to go to the gym regularly.. Hopefully this isn't just 三分钟热度。。Minghao might be signing up as well.. Yay!! Probably can hit to the fitness group sessions together.. hehe...

Alright, time passes really quickly.. It's abt 2 months since I started working.. Things are going great.. But still in learning mode.. Handling a project at this moment, generating large scale of vectors.. So kinda stinky with the LB broth smell.. Urgh!! Might be helping to write up a paper as well - I'm excited!! Oh well, next week will be presenting during the lab meeting - that was freaky early.. I can't think of anything to present but photos of agarose gel.. how interesting.. -_-||

CNY is coming soon - this will be my first time celebrating it without my family.. I don't think we'll be celebrating it here though.. It's just different over here.. =( Oh well, I can only try to be positive by thinking that I will be spending quite a long CNY in sitiawan next year... :))))

Speaking of which, 14th Feb is also the V-day... Nah, not celebrating it.. It's just a way to boomz the economy.. I guess most ppl will celebrate it on another day.. Probably the restaurants etc should consider of putting their super-expensive and not-so-worth-it meals away on the 14th Feb.. This doesn't mean that they should have this package for the whole week and call it Valentine's week special or something like tat (if they're creative enough to come up with other names).. C'mon, that's just crap.. OK, that's just my point of view alright?? Maybe most ppl are not as BORING as me.... haha.....

News about the visa over here isn't that great.... Hope everything will go smoothly for both me and minghao...

One interesting thing, some ppl think that I'm still young.... Now I'm wondering - what's the definition of young? Young as in younger than them? If this is the definition, then I'll be forever young!! -_-|| otherwise, is it because I look younger than I should be - if yes, I guess it's a good news though.. haha.. I can't think of other possibilities at this moment... Still scratching my head...

Haven been feeling very well for the past 1 week.. No appetite and feeling lousy.. A good time to lose weight but I do miss the good food out there.. Hope to get well soon.. It's kinda amazing that I can still pull myself up to work and look normal over there *claps* First week at work.. Still trying to familiarize with the work culture and stuff in new place.. To summarise, good boss, good colleagues.. I LIKE!! Hope to get everything up on hand soon... I wanna at least contribute something to the lab SOON!!

Weather has been fine except for the freaking blardy boiling hot on Monday (even at night).. Otherwise the days are beautiful.. Good for picnic but too bad I need to work - not that I'm complaining that I have a job.. Ok, kinda random, I know.. Partly due to the empty stomach.. But it's at least a glimpse of what am I up to...

Side note: Will be back to Spore during Easter break...

Jet-lagged or no??

After so many days in Melb, my biological clock is still screwed up.. Even though there's only 3 hours difference between Msia & Down Under, it bothers me quite a bit.. Going to bed late in Msia is a big NO NO in the future but I guess it's hard to sleep earlier with my devilish sisters around over there...

Back in Melb, attempts going to bed by midnight (Melb local time) failed miserably... Lying on the bed with the eyes wide open for 3 hours (ok, maybe 2 hours since I talked to minghao for an hour or so) is quite a torture.... On top of that, my brain starts working - if you know me well enough, you'll know that it's hard for me to stop thinking once the mighty brain starts working.. Once I woke up from my sleep, the clock strikes 12pm... It's quite worrying since I'll need to wake up early from next week onwards... ARGH!!

Frustrated, I decided that this nonsense need to be stopped.. So what did I do??? Easy~ Play stupid games on my DS till 3am (with the lights off of course- you wouldn't wanna get out from the bed to off the lights when time's up) Forced myself to get out from the bed at 10am this morning, that was a torture as well... I hope by 11pm tonight, my eyelids will start falling and I'll bid 8/1/10 goodbye just like tat.... FINGERS CROSSED!!! And wish me luck!!

S** A380 is enormously big but nothing else worth mentioning.. I'm more looking forward to taking E******* in the future if it's possible (this is just my personal preference, no hard feelings pls..)

Christmas and New Year in Sitiawan was fun fun fun... Gift-exchange was hilarious.. especially meaningful with the participation from my parents this time round.. Counting down with a drop of alcohol and supper stuffing made New Year slightly unbearable for my younger sis (Eechin).. Blame my elder sis *evil grin*... We were practically driving around the town looking for doctors as she was feeling unwell.. I was suspecting her having gastric flu but the doctor diagnosed her with alcohol 'allergy'.. oh well, this is not the first time she's having alcohol and we only have DROPs of it..
Not forgetting the constant Mario Kart competition between my sisters and Minghao.. With my mum falling asleep while reading her newspaper and watching tv (yeah, multitasking queen).. Otherwise, my father snoring away on his lazy chair.. I'm starting to miss these moments...

Am back in Melbourne right now and home alone... FREEDOM!!!! Will be starting work next Monday, and there goes my movie marathon everyday... Not that I'm grumpy about this, I can't wait to resume my working life.. Student life is fun of course but it's pathetic I would say... Working life is no fun, but less pathetic in the sense of financial wise.. I've already started spending my money away when I was in Spore that Minghao had to constantly reminding me not to overspent..
